Cover Art and details about The Boondocks Complete Series and Season Four clears up confusion

Yesterday we were trying to figure out the math behind The Boondocks‘ fourth season coming out on home release by the end of June, and now we’ve got our answers thanks to TVShowsonDVD.

Turns out the original order of 20 episodes that Adult Swim ordered for The Boondocks were decreased to 10 episodes which is far less then what prior seasons typically had (average 15 a season) all of which probably had a lot to do with Aaron McGruder parting ways with the franchise. That said, the home releases sound PACKED with special features and I can’t wait.

As reported yesterday, The Boondocks Season Four and The Complete Series are all coming to DVD on June 24th. Pricing info is here, but both releases will be completely uncensored and uncut with the Season Four package including ”A Writer’s Perspective” and ”The Music of the Boondocks”. The Complete Series will include ELEVEN discs and the following special features according to TVShowsonDVD:
