Robot Chicken Director Lands ”Lego Movie” Sequel
Long-time Robot Chicken director Chris McKay will be filming a whole new set of toys to play with as Warner Bros. Animation has officially tapped him as the director for The Lego Movie sequel according to Deadline.com. This comes after he was a co-director with Phil Lord and Chris Miller for the last-time out which turned out just fine because The Lego Movie went on to make around $400 million in the box office.
As mentioned, Chris was a long-time director for the Robot Chicken franchise and pretty much took over sole duties in the third season. It stayed that way RIGHT before Season 6 when Zeb Wells took the director’s chair and he’s been doing it ever since.
Chris was also the director for the third chapter of the Robot Chicken parody of Star Wars, and was a producer for the fantastic Titan Maximum.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
