REVIEW: CHOZEN “I’M WITH THE CONTRABAND”

AYO – SPOILERS. ‘NUFF SAID.

This week’s Chozen was aite. A few great one liners here and there (as expected) but no real hard laughs or plot twist screw faces out of this dude (me).

So what got crackin’ in this one? Plots?  Sure.

In this episode of Chozen, Troy and his Indian homey get rejected from a popular frat party ’cause they’re freshman (which is something I’ve never seen in real life by the way – as a frat brother myself, erreybody know that it’s freshman who go to all the frat parties and help us make dat party dough. More mo’fuckas in yo house, mo’ money in the bank bruh). In response to this freshman-got-nowhere-to-party situation, Chozen decides to start selling booze to these under aged fools (at inflated prices) in an effort to start his criminal empire (that will provide the shine needed to help his rap career). Yadda yadda yadda, he gets greedy and it falls apart.

This weeks MVP goes to Bobby Moynihan for just being consistent as fuck with the delivery of his lines. Homey really IS Chozen, he makes that shit come to life. Acting son, he does that ish hard.

The song in this weeks episode was pretty whack, I’m not even sure if there was any funny lines in it – that’s just not gonna fly well. Y’all need some new fresher beats – shit is generic as fuck. Pick it up boys – surely you could link up with some legit producers? Could probably get some up and comers to give you some fire on the free just for exposure. Get with it mayne.

I had no idea that the girl who voices Tracy (Kathryn Hahn) was that same chick from Step Brothers – whaaaaaat? Wow, I’m usually pretty good with voices but she totally got me, well done I guess.

Aite, that’s all you get for this week. Keep it 100 til next week.
