Review: Uncle Grandpa ”Bad Morning”
Spoilers Below
Uncle G is having a bad morning and no one knows why. Gus, Tiger, and Steve try to cheer him up, but nothing works so Gus rewinds Grandpa to see what went down. Turns out Uncle Grandpa woke up on the wrong side of the bed and it’s all Steve’s fault. Evidently, Steve was in the kitchen looking for a snack when he decided to drive Uncle G’s race car bed and go get ice cream only to park his bed wrong. Grandpa takes off in his race car bed leading to a chase, but the son of a bitch won’t slow down. Gus decides to commandeer Steve’s ice cream and forces Uncle Grandpa to eat it causing him to go to sleep. Grandpa wakes up the next morning…on the right side of the bed. The credits RULED.
In the next short, Grandpa’s in the bath tub, but Gus really has to get in there. Unfortunately, an Octopus takes Grandpa’s rubber ducky but Grandpa gets it back and takes off.
Uncle Grandpa goes on a break for a few weeks, which stinks because the show is so damn good. Granted, we got a lot of good shit out of the series throughout the Olympics. As mentioned in weeks prior, Uncle Grandpa is one of the best shows on Cartoon Network and it’s only the first season. Despite earlier worries that the series would maybe repeat itself, Uncle Grandpa has been anything but repetitive since its premier. The shorts are usually pretty awesome, and overall the series is a throw back to the Looney Tunes era when you got more bang for your buck…but in 12 minute intervals.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
