Review: Teen Titans Go! “In and Out”
Spoilers Below
The Titans hangout is a piece of shit especially when compared to the Hive HQ. Robin wants to infiltrate the base as an evil alter ego named Red X. Surprisingly, the Hive let Robin right on in as part of their crew and the boy wonder gets right to work planting a bomb that should level the HQ. Problem is, these guys have a pizza oven that makes fresh pizza! The evil HQ sounds so great that Cyborg comes aboard as ”The Stone” so that he can get in on said pizza. When the duo heads back to Titans HQ, the rest of the crew hear about all of the good shit that the Hive HQ has to offer so they decide to join up, too! Yep, this bomb is never going off!
Eventually, the Hive decide to blow up their own tower so that they can get rid of their new guests, causing the Titans to reveal themselves and cause a big battle. The battle destroys the Hive tower leaving the Hive having to stay with the Titans…until THAT building blows up, too!
Lots of explosions this week which is somewhat refreshing, more over this is the latest in a number of episodes where we are seeing the Titans and Hive co-mingle. From Cyborg and Beast Boy’s crushes, to this week every member of the Titans dressing up to infiltrate their HQ, the Hive are slowly but sure becoming big players in this series. We only have a few episodes left this season, so it will be interesting to see where Titans go from here. In terms of laughs, I did get a few chuckles out of everyone making fun of Robin’s outfit and really enjoyed all of the cool features of the Hive HQ. However, the Titan Towers that I remember always looked nice, so I wasn’t really expecting it to look like the pile that it became. Thankfully, we were in and out.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
