Review: Lucas Bros. Moving Company ”Big Head Mike”
Spoilers Below
The Small Business Administration holds a round robin basketball tournament with the winners getting three fast passes to Coney Island. In years past the barber shop usually wins the big game, but this year things are different because the Lucas Bros. have sneaker pumps. In an attempt to show off the new shows, however, Jerrod breaks his ankle. With the tourney being a 3 on 3 format, the Lucas’ are down one man. To help, the guys go home and pray to God that Michael Jordan helps the brothers in their quest for Coney Island tix. Almost like the first ten minutes of Ted, the Lucas’ prayer does come true, only this Michael Jordan is manifested in a big huge bobble-head toy.
But, as it turns out, being a bobble-head doesn’t matter because THIS Michael Jordan is GOOD! He pretty much takes on all of the teams by himself which works until the last 10 seconds of the Championship game. Michael asks for some help from the Lucas’, so they ramp up their shoes and slam down the last show to win the title! Unfortunately, the brothers only get three passes, so they can’t take Michael Jordan to Coney Island and instead take Jerrod. We find out that Michael Jordan ties Jerrod to the roller coaster track in an attempt to kill him, but Keef and Kenny pump their shoes into GIANTS and knock MJ into outer space!
The one thing about this series that all others could learn is how to get SO MUCH into 12 minutes. We’ve been comparing the series all season long to Regular Show, and like the popular Cartoon Network series, the Lucas Bros. are somehow able to pack SO much action, adventure, and comedy into only 12 minutes! The basketball game was written and directed beautifully making you root for the greatest basketball player to ever play in the NBA, and in a mere 30 seconds to a minute later our fabled writers turn MJ into a villain of epic proportions. Their answer? A 1990s marketing ploy to sell sneakers! We will get into more detail on how great this show is in the upcoming issue of Bubbleblabber the Magazine where we will do a full Season 1 review, but do yourselves a favor, go on FOXadhd.com and watch every episode of the Lucas Bros. This could be the best animated series that FOX ADHD has…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
