Reddit AMA Recap: Tom Kane (Archer’s ”Woodhouse”)
Tom Kane aka the voice of Archer’s ”Woodhouse” recently took part in a Reddit AMA, and the session was short and sweet but the voice actor didn’t take off until he answered how he took on the role of Archer Vice’s depiction of Woodhouse after the departure of George Coe. Tom would note that despite his rather impressive voice resume, that Woodhouse is the oldest character that he has voiced and then he gave further insight on what he had to do to take over a rather well-known character:
He was an existing character, so I had to match it pretty closely. I had done a few Archers before that, small supporting characters. Lots of Russians.
To be quite honest, I really can’t even tell the difference between the two voices, however I would like to find out why George Coe left in the first place. I’ll do more research, in the meantime Archer Vice is all-new tonight on FX @ 10 pm EST, check your local listings!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
