Spoilers!

Rigby brings the can up from the garage, knocking Pops over in the process. He hits the kitchen, where Muscle Man spots the POGS. Muscle Man challenges Rigby to a game, and Muscle Man ends up with a POG lodged in Rigby’s eye. On Rigby’s turn, he slams it so hard, Fives gets knocked out of the room, and Muscle Man disappears. Fives comes back into the room, and sees that there’s only a virtual pet left. As Benson and Mordecai finish up the room, Rigby flashes past them. The door slams as  Pops, Skips, and Fives come up the stairs. They tell Benson what happened, and Skips thinks Rigby found a cursed  POG collection. They try to figure out what he’s doing, and find the bedroom trashed, again. Mordecai finds Rigby hiding in the closet, and he runs out of the room, trying to find his stuff. Skips tells the others that Rigby isn’t Rigby anymore.

“Grape Soda of Wrath”

Benson walks in on the group playing flip cup with soda cans, on top of a door. The kitchen is trashed, and he wants it spotless. Fives gets nominated to get the cleaning supplies, when he falls in love with a mop. Fives is on a grape soda bender, and Muscle Man, Mordecai, and Rigby follow him to make sure he stays out of trouble. They go out to dinner, the amusement park, bike riding, and a picnic. Rigby gets sick of following him, so he knocks out Fives with a rock. He comes around, and feels depressed because he misses the mop. So, Mordecai and Rigby bring him Littany, who is a vampire that works as a mortician in the mall. Fives is smitten with her, as Benson reminds everyone the kitchen is still a mess.

This was a solid rebound from last week, considering this book has two good stories coming out of it. The main story actually went somewhere, and it looked fantastic. Rigby getting possessed by a cursed POG container is hilarious, because it’s something everyone was into for about 10 minutes. “Grape Soda of Wrath” was a hilarious story. Fives, a ghost, got so drunk on grape soda, that he falls in love with a mop. That was freaking hilarious. The art for both stories looked phenomenal, and it complements the decently written story very well. Hopefully, this starts a streak, but knowing Boom! Studios, it may be another one shot deal.
