South Park: The Stick of Truth does NOT need uPlay on PC

According to the best gaming magazine on the planet, GameInformer, you will NOT have to run a uPlay client whilst playing South Park: The Stick of Truth on PC. According to the article:

Obsidian’s official Twitter account dropped the new in answering a fan who had asked if they would have to use the Uplay client to play the game if they preordered it on Steam. Obsidian tweeted in response: “No, Uplay Will not be featured in SP: SOT.”

South Park: The Stick of Truth is due to be out on PS3, X360, and PC on March 4, 2014. Check out a whole bunch of clips here.
