”Regular Show” Season Six Currently In Production for Cartoon Network

A couple months back, Regular Show animator Bob Cavin tweeted that Season six of Regular Show is currently in development, however with the recent announcement from Cartoon Network about schedule changes one has to wonder will Regular Show stay at its normal time slot of 7:30 pm EST? Or will Cartoon Network change it?

For a long time, Regular Show used to be an 8pm EST series until earlier last year when Mordecai and Rigby were replaced by Grandpa and Steven. But, will Cartoon Network maybe do away with the reruns that come after the new broadcasts of Regular Show freeing up more air-time? Or will the series turn to 6pm? Worst yet, could Cartoon Network ask that Regular Show be watered down to help suit an even younger audience? Anyone who has watched the early seasons of Regular Show can certainly tell that the series has been toned down quite a bit compared to what we have now in Season Five, so let’s hope this isn’t an ongoing trend.

Regular Show returns with an all-new episode on Cartoon Network, February 24th @ 7:30 pm EST, check your local listings!
