Former VP of Comedy and Animation at MTV gets promo at Comedy Central
According to Deadline.com, Comedy Central has announced that former VP of Comedy and Animation at MTV, Brooke Posch, has just gotten a promotion and will be the new SVP of Original Programming and Development. She will be tasked with overseeing development of East-Coast based Comedy Central projects which right now doesn’t include any of the heavy-weight animated names like South Park, Brickleberry, or even Moonbeam City as those shows are produced in California, but COULD mean some of the digital content such as InSecurity which was a NYC-based production.
I actually hope with this move that this convinces Brooke to pitch some of her old-school animated clientele from MTV like Clone High, 3 South, and Beavis and Butthead for at LEAST some syndication if not new episodes on Comedy Central. Wouldn’t that be nice?
So if you had to choose, WHICH MTV animated series would you like to see come back and get new life on Comedy Central?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
