Review: Space Dandy “Occasionally Even the Deceiver is Deceived, Baby

We’re back at the alien turn in station, where Dandy is getting his next ploy of a fake alien rejected. They get back on the ship, and QT tried to pass off 10,000 year old food, which gets force fed to Meow. Dandy comes to the rescue with his Boobies point card. That is, until they realize that it expires today, and the closest Boobies is 2 hours and 30 minutes away. Dandy decides to screw precaution, and hits the hyperdrive a lot.

They end up on some weird planet that seems dead. Dandy’s obsession leads him to explore the planet, to the dismay of QT and Meow. Something growls in the distance, and Dandy runs far away. He hears a woman screaming for help, of course, and he goes to help. Problem is, she is getting chased by a horde of walking vagina looking monsters. After hitting everything but the aliens with his gun, they run. They get to a cave, and both Dandy and Meow try to hit on the girl, hardcore.

The Golgol fleet makes it to the planet, and is waiting outside. They are trying to figure out a way to get down there to get Dandy, but they decide to wait it out. They see that there is the most dangerous monster in the galaxy, and it looks like it’s the girl. They start disassembling the ship, where the aliens are outside. After trying to shoot them, again, Dandy gets his translator on. They tell him to get off planet, and fast, so they don’t get eaten by the Deathgarian.

Back on the ship, Meow is on the menu for the boobie monster. Fully transformed, the Deathgarian eats Meow, and is chasing Dandy and QT. They leave the planet, until Dandy remembers that Meow has the points card. He transforms the Mini-Aloha into a giant mecha. It looks just like a giant robot Dandy. The Deathgarian knocks Dandy around, until it he hit the Aloha-Oe. It then eats the debris cloud, which included the expired space food. It faints, and Dandy captures it. Dandy registers it, forgetting that Meow is still in it.

This episode was great, and it was as funny as the other episodes. I noticed that the animators paid special attention to a game called Dead or Alive for its jiggling boob physics. The tits are plenty, from the human form Deathgarian to the Boobies point card. This show is definitely good for tits. Dandy and Meow going brainless for the Deathgarian was great as well. There was little to no of the Golgol this week, so the show was really focused on the crew on this planet. Mecha Dandy was funny as hell, only because it shows how pompous and self-absorbed he really is.

The only thing I have to say against the episode is that there was nothing new. It just seems to me like a lot of the same jokes and themes are repeating. Something new should be coming soon, because it could get really stale soon if everything just repeats.
