Review: Golan the Insatiable ‘Escape to Tooth Mountain’

Spoilers Below
Dylan’s got a loose tooth so when Golan hears about the Tooth fairy he makes it a mission to try and bang her out. Unfortunately, when the tooth fairy comes by to give Dylan a dollar, Golan misses it, but to prove he isn’t a pussy who can’t stay awake Golan tells Dylan tells a bunch of sex lies to cover his tracks. Alexis takes Golan up on her BS by challenging him to bring the tooth fairy to a spaghetti bar. Thankfully, Golan hears about this other kid named Billy who just lost HIS tooth so he runs over to his house during the evening hours and kidnaps Billy’s mom. Golan brings the ‘tooth fairy’ to the spaghetti bar but is able to escape before Alexis and her dude show up. Golan flips the fuck out and kills a bunch of people at the restaurant leaving him back to ground zero. Golan decides to rip another tooth out of Dylan’s head to setup another visit from the fairy but really its just Richard playing dad. But, there’s always next time!
It escapes me which review I saw it in, but I saw Golan being described as being akin to Calvin & Hobbes and to be honest I don’t like that comparison. In Calvin & Hobbes, Hobbes was usually dormant when anyone else but Calvin came around, whereas Golan gets to have a shit load of fun with all of the characters of Golan the Insatiable. For example, the dynamic between Golan and Richard is hysterical and is just as torrential of a relationship as Jerry and Rick’s on Rick and Morty. The whole concept of trying to catch a tooth fairy has been done before, but for Golan its only so he can rape her which makes this concept all part of the show’s allure.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
