Review: Crash and Bernstein ‘Frat Chance’

Crash and Wyatt switch sandwiches, but Crash makes the rescue before any real damage is done. Later, Crash and Bernstein head to Putnam U where Crash gets spotted and invited to a frathouse by this kid Anvil. The Frat Prez comes over and offers the duo to join the frat, with Wyatt doing their homework and Crash doing face slams. Wyatt starts getting worried that the frat house are going to find out that the duo is not part of the college and worst yet that Wyatt can’t do college homework. The Prez finds out that last part and kicks Wyatt out, but Crash is invited to stay. Crash ditches Wyatt whom now has to resort hanging out with Pesto which is no fun for anyone. Crash shows up, and tells Wyatt that he’s pretty much the Frat slave now and he seems to really enjoy it. Wyatt heads off to save Crash once and for all. We later learn that Wyatt is retarded as he falls for the frat brothers wanting to play indoor paintball, but Crash gets em all back. Later, Wyatt starts his own frat and invites Crash in.

Later, Amanda films a pranks she pulls on Crash and it works to perfection same as it does with Cleo. Pesto gets it right in the ass, too so Cleo wants to team up with him to try and get Amanda back. Unfortunately, Pesto tells Amanda all about it and she offers to team up with him to get Cleo. Turns out Cleo knew all about it because she gets Amanda and Pesto arrested on HER reverse of the reverse prank.

Usually Landry Bender is one of the few stars of this show, but this week her stuff seemed rather forced in her portrayal as Cleo. However that’s not even the worst of it because this episode had a BUNCH of plot holes. For starters it was never explained or shown how Pesto and Amanda got out of jail which I think would have made this episode a bunch more funnier. Also, I could’ve sworn in Health-O-Ween that it was already explained that Amanda was part of an organization that is all about pranking only to have her character re-explain everything to everyone about why she’s great at pulling shit on people? Also, how in the name of Jesus Christ is Wyatt able to walk into a college frat house and better yet how is it there are NO drugs whatsoever in said frat house? Also, the frat at first seemed to like having Crash around due to the fact that he’s silly only to turn it into a story line with him having to do a bunch of slave labor. Also, the Frat House kids (aside from Anvil, whom I actually liked) were rather terrible actors with special kudos going to the Frat Prez who somehow found a way to out stink Pesto. Yep, that’s right kids…Pesto gets a pass from me this week, but only because there was worse elsewhere.
