Watch: LeSean Thomas in a 5-part Documentary about his travels to Seoul, South Korea
I don’t know if I could ever move somewhere on a semi-permanent basis similar to LeSean Thomas’ (Black Dynamite, The Boondocks) trek to South Korea. For starters, how the hell would I be able to keep track of my favorite football and basketball teams? Where would I be able to eat endless amount of chicken wings like I do at Buffalo Wild Wings? And most importantly, how do I watch TV if I don’t know the language native to that culture???
LeSean seemed to have none of these worries when a couple years back he decided to live in Seoul, South Korea so that he could animate like a champ only to take those talents back to LA to make awesome television shows like Black Dynamite. When you consider the number of times South Korea gets mentioned in the news any given year given the fact that the country is technically still at war with North Korea, one would have to only imagine the amount of bravery and sure-will power it would take to want to live in Seoul.
Check out the entire presentation below. It’s the type of stuff that you would see on Vice and is really very good.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
