Review: Phineas and Ferb’ Druselsteinoween’

Spoilers Below

Yep, everyone”s getting set for Halloween except for Perry who is off to work. There seems to be a big Halloween party with Vanessa and Monty going, Major and Carl too, and a whole bunch of others. Doof actually gets a big huge castle that seems to have hidden treasure and he needs help finding it to which Perry offers to come along. Looks like Vanessa and the girls came as Vampires with the guys coming as Pimpernells.  Seriously, that’s what they look like. The problem with is Vanessa can’t seem to find Monty at first because he has trouble finding a costume, but he shows up and almost gets caught in the act by the Major. Doof eventually finds his treasure, but with all of the building permits needed for running a castle he spends through it rather quickly.

This week’s Phineas was funny, but it had a bunch of loose-ends that didn’t make sense. Like there was all this build-up for the Vanessa and Monty meet up with the potential of the latter getting caught only for it to last like five seconds. The treasure search was a nice change of pace for a Doof/Perry plot and the ending was hysterical and wore yet hit me right at home. I also did enjoy the costume party as it perfectly exemplified how unoriginal most Halloween parties are nowadays. Dumb songs show up, but overall a good night.
