Review: MAD ‘Pacific Ring / Horton Hears A Whodunnit’

Pacific Ring

Monsters have arisen from the sea and it’s up to professional wrestlers to work as a team to operate specialized robots to defeat them. Kofi Kingston and CM Punk are in charge of operating one robot, but when Kofi finds out the robot only looks like CM, he quits. Now the CM robot is only able to operate one side of its body. John Cena is teamed with The Trademark as punishment for making a rap album. As the monsters attack, Cena springs into action and CM struggles to run his robot solo. As Cena cleans house, CM pulls a “Heel Turn” and starts attacking Cena, with the logic that “It’s pro wrestling!” Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler point out the Michael Bay is writing all of this down to use in his next Transformers movie.

Horton Hears A Whodunnit

Horton is the butler on a murder/mystery show. Will Smith is on top of a mountain for being in an M. Night Shamalamadingdong movie, but is able to provide the contestants a magnifying glass for solving a riddle. As they use the magnifying glass, they notice that there are millions of squashed Who’s all over the floor and deduce that Horton did it because of his big feet.
