Review: Hulk Agents of SMASH ‘Hulks on Ice’

Hulk and the gang are flying through space when they see a big huge ice cube with Thor inside…odd? Hulk says them and we hear that the Frost Giants are on the way. We find out that the Avengers are else where dealing with this shit, too so yea. The crew fly on over to see how they can stop the frostees, but a glacier collapses and down goes team.

The agents are captured in the cold and Laufey shows up to talk smack and to tell the team that he is going to freeze Earth. Shulk gets out and frees the rest of the Agents and with Rulk and Hulk arguing it out, the whole team breaks into the lair. The frost creatures show up and we get a fight. The fight spills outside and we meet Ymir.

The agents of SMASH start battling Ymir, while Thor heads to go fight the frost giants and Ymir. With the help of hard work and team effort, SMASH is able to beat Ymir and Thor sends Laufey packing. Apparently, Red Hulk and Hulk have been arguing this whole time because they keep each other up at night. They settle their differences and now everyone’s cool.

This show is odd. I actually like the voice cast a lot and Seth Green is a good comic relief that is pretty funny, but you can tell he sure as hell ain’t writing it. But, the reality show format that this series employs is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, and worse yet they make Skaar look like a douche as compared to the comics. She Hulk is not a magic-weaver and fans of UMC3 are going to absolutely hate this depiction of her. I like Thor, and I know you Disney execs are just throwing shit at walls to see what works, but this isn’t it.
