Review: Family Guy ‘Vestigial Peter’
Spoilers Below
When Peter discovers a lump on his neck, Dr. Hartman diagnosis it as a vestigial twin – an incomplete twin that never fully developed – and when a mini Peter head pops out, Peter names him “Chip” (not to be confused with Chocolate Chip, the little African boy Peter once adopted).
At first, Peter is excited to have a new brother, giving him an interesting silhouette for his spoken word jazz and initiating campfire sing-alongs with bears, but when Peter and Chip don’t see eye-to-eye, mainly Peter growing tired of Chip’s enthusiastic nature, he decides to go under the knife and get separated in a life-threatening operation.
After the surgery, the family decides to let Chip stay with them. With the Griffin’s new resident making alterations around the house and gaining much love from the family, Peter quickly grow jealous.
After a falling out, Chip leaves and it upsets the family. But after Peter falls victim to a mishap, it’s up to Chip to save the day, rekindling the estranged twins via flatulence. That’s right, they went there!
There were plenty of well-orchestrated cutaways, telling me that the Family Guy writing staff is more than just a tank of manatees dropping idea balls into a compartment. This week, we learn that Peter has always been a lizard on the inside after species reassignment surgery, Dr. Hartman still rocks it like a rebellious teenager during his breaks, and Stewie is a real mac-daddy, giving his fellow female schoolmates what they think they want.
And with no accompanying storyline, Vestigial Peter stood on it’s own, carrying the narrative for the entire duration.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
