Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of the NFL Week 5: Eagles vs Giants

Another week of NFL action, another no-call by Carl as his Giants lose again to the Kansas City Chiefs. However, this week is going to be a challenge as we’ve got the 1 win Eagles playing the winless Giants at home in what should be a mediocre battle at best. In any case, let’s make our picks yea? This week Carl takes the Giants and this time I think I do, too. Here’s why.

Giants: Because this game is at MetLife Stadium, I’m taking the Giants this week. That and I think Eli Manning is a better QB than Michael Vick any day of the week. The G-Men’s running game continues to be depressing and Eli has thrown a shit ton of picks this Season. I just think the Giants D have JUST enough to make Mike Vick run around a lot in a College Offense that I think has been a big disappointment.

Eagles: On paper, the Eagles have the WAY better offense, but Michael Vick is a terrible QB and as a matter of fact I think the Eagles take a QB in a QB-heavy NFL draft. Yea they are ranked first, but on the Defensive side of the ball they are ranked almost last in points allowed and I don’t think Mike is the type of QB like a Peyton to be able to even up the score. Because of this, I don’t think the Chip Kelly Offense gets busy this game.
