Teen Titans GO! to get Digital Comic
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Teen Titans GO! is getting a new digital comic series inspired by the Cartoon Network series of the same name. As a result, it looks like this show COULD be in for the long haul as the series has already been announced for pickup on a Season 2.
The comic series will be release digitally monthly, but those that prefer print will not have to fear because DC Comics plans on publishing a bi-monthly print edition that will really just be two digital ones. This is in stark contrast in how say Bongo Comics does it whom releases the print versions first in comic shops, followed by news stands, then digital gets it last.
Illustrated by Ben Bates and Jorge Corona the series will be written by Merrill Hagan, who will be alternate writing duties with Sholly Fisch. The first issue is said to be released in December and you can check out the first cover down below:
Teen Titans GO! is all new this Wednesday @ 7:30pm EST on Cartoon Network, check your local listings.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
