Shorts Review: Red vs Blue Season 11 Episode 13
If Red vs. Blue takes place hundreds of years in the future, how come all of their references are from the 2000s/2010s? Just seems like lazy writing to me.
Just kidding, Red vs. Blue! Of course the references would be current to today’s viewers, especially the social networking episode that was just released. In it, Simmons creates a website called BaseBook (which includes only the Red and Blue bases) and the others join it with varying levels of interest.
The real story, however, is the contact between the grey/orange armored soldier and the teams – or more specifically, the Lopezes. The mysterious solider claims he is arranging for the teams’ rescue, but that they need to hold on a bit longer. He also warns that there are others watching them. Intriguing, to say the least.
This episode wasn’t nearly as funny as the previous few, but sometimes a few jokes need to be sacrificed to further the plot. As long as the story stays interesting, I’ll keep looking forward to the next week’s episode. So should you.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
