Review: Wander Over Yonder ‘The Good Deed’
Spoilers Below
It appears that in this episode of Wander Over Yonder, Wander goes through an existential life crisis as he debates doing what he does best…Good Deeds.
It appears that every time Wander performs a good deed for a stranger or friend in need, something bad happens in the universe. Whether it is feeding a starving rabbit with a carrot that was used to drive a man to a wedding – bringing that man to his wedding only to watch him break apart the bride and groom – or reuniting lost lovers at a wedding only to see that it causes a feud between two races… Every good deed seems to go hand-in-hand with something catastrophic.
As Wander debates ever doing anything good again, one of his deeds causes a shift in the sun which ruined Lord Hater’s palm reading. In turn, Lord Hater did what any typical leader would do and launched a missile at the sun.
Wander finally snaps out of it and saves the sun after Sylvia says something quite poetic, “If doing a good dead leads to the universe getting destroyed, partner, that’s not a universe I want to live in anyway.”
A cartoon episode involving starvation, adultery, and death while all wrapped into a beautiful message about appeasing the masses…ANOTHER
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
