REVIEW: SQUIDBILLIES ‘STOP. JAMMERTIME!’
Spoilers Below Y’all
Ya don’t mess with a good thing. Somehow Dougal County just seems to work well smothered in chaos. I mean, everyone in town is at least dipping their toes in sin – and yet life continues on. So when a new judge comes into town (basically a characature of Jesse Jackson) and starts doling out actual sentences, shit goes haywire.
In this weeks episode, Early finds himself forced to carry out a series of “shaming” stints in order to make up for his sexual deviance (which is now being actually prosecuted). Eventually this new ‘repent fo yo sins’ tactic spreads to the entire town leaving the landscape peppered with sandwichboard bearing townsfolk sporting slogas such as “I’m Stoned Right Now”, and so a collective decision is made that this new judge needs to go.
Following the time honored practice of either having pictures of a judge with “a dead woman or a live boy in his bed” (I’ll let you find out which one) being used for blackmail comes to fruition and the now dementia ridden judge of yesteryear is able to be put back into power. All is well once again thanks to a town coming together to commit a crime so that they can continue committing crimes.
This weeks installment was solid and earns itself another higher-than-my-usual-scores review stemming from a good handful of ‘I actually laughed out loud’ moments. Keep up the good shit, this team has really won me over.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
