Reddit AMA Recap: Brickleberry creators talk new season

Brickleberry

Brickleberry Season 2 premiered last night on Comedy Central and already we can tell this season is going to be a laugh riot! And guess what? The laughs don’t stop there as show creators Waco O’Guin and Roger Black stopped by to talk up some more plot lines for season two. The duo collectively called themselves ‘the damn show’ and yea they DID get a couple of old-school questions, but my FAVORITE question was when someone asked if ‘Inebriated the Koala’ was going to appear in an upcoming episode to which the guys AGAIN noted that they weren’t able to fit the popular character from the Damn Show years just yet but the guys seem highly optimistic about a Season 3 pickup happening and with that comes the increasing likelihood we see the drunken koala.

In any case, let’s not fret over whom ISN’T guest starring this season on Brickleberry, let’s find out who! And yea, the list is rather impressive:

Waco: John DiMaggio landed his amazing voice talents to a few new characters this season, and Roger almost shat himself (Almost?) when he met his childhood idol, Mark Hamill, who did a few other voices this go round.

Ever wonder where the idea of Brickleberry first came about? Welp, Roger has a rather hysterical story for that:

Waco’s father in law was a park ranger. (His name is Woody) At Waco’s wedding Roger kept fucking with him and calling him a tree cop until he snapped. He grabbed Roger’s thumb and bent it all the way back (park ranger hold). This caused a big scene and we were laughing about how seriously he took his park ranger job.

One of the really great questions of the AMA was that of merch and I can tell you there IS stuff on the way, but I can’t tell you what. However, someone DID propose the idea of a video game, an idea that Cartoon Network and Disney use QUITE a bit, but the guys have an interesting take on whether or not Brickleberry would be a good fit for a game:

We would love to do a video game! We just would have to make sure it didn’t suck like most of the other TV type games.

Agreed. Lately we’ve been reviewing a bunch of games and for the most part they are kinda bad (we have two coming up later this week!) so you have to give the guys kudos for not taking the checks and running. Lastly, we here at Bubbleblabber couldn’t help but have a bit of fun with Roger and Waco and as such decided to ask them the most important questions in their careers!
