LEGO Simpsons Show is on the way!
And it gets CONFIRMATION!
Bleeding Cool News is reporting and Simpsons executive producer David Silverman is confirming on Twitter that there will be a Lego Simpsons show, however it is not yet specified if this is an episode set to premier on FOX or if this is like the LEGO Star Wars specials where it could air on a Cartoon Network.
We mentioned a few weeks ago that there would be a line of LEGO toys inspired by the Simpsons, and now it looks like LEGO is going the route of its Chima, Ninjago, and Star Wars line of toys and will be doing an animated adaptation of the toy line. No word yet whom will be writing, but I would think the likely candidate would be Simpsons writer Michael Price as he has already been involved with both the Simpsons AND LEGO franchises as he has written for both including the recently aired Yoda Chronicles that was well-received.
No word yet on air-date or network so keep it locked here until we learn more. The Simpsons returns with new episodes on Sunday Sept. 29th @ 8pm EST, check your local listings.
Okay, NOW I can tweet about the upcoming Simpsons Lego Show! http://t.co/mDiVO04tC1

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
