Review: XIAOLIN CHRONICLES ‘The Fall of Xialon’
Spoilers Below
The team isn’t crazy about kicking Ping Pong to the curb, but Omi seems OK with it. They eventually find Ping Pong’s diary which upsets Omi and leads them on a clue about this dark haired women that took the place of Willow in their previous battle.
Kimmodo follows Willow aka Shadow for Chase Young and learns that he now has the combination once under Omi’s control. She eventually runs into Ping Pong and the two now have to battle a whole bunch of wild cats under the direction of Chase. Chase and Shadow fight Ping Pong which even sees the latter getting eaten by a lion! Thankfully, Kimmodo saves him but gets knocked out of the fight which leaves Ping to fight off all of the cats, but he gets caught by Chase. While Jack is building an army, Kimmodo makes it back the temple stoned. The team decides to fly over and meet Jack for another battle, but Chase and Shadow show up and challenge him in a battle. Not surprisingly, Chase destroys Jack, but Shadow wins the prize! However, does Ping Pong make it out from his captive alive?
Yep, he does. He rejoins the team and the gang figure out what went down with Chase and Shadow. The latter two show up the temple and now a big battle s about to go down! Even Fung shows up, but he gets taken out by Chase while the rest of the warriors battle on. Omi and Ping Pong get smashed, and even Dojo gets wrecked. Thankfully, a lot of the team are able to escape, but they leave the temple in ruins!
Fung and everyone make it out OK, but the monks are off to a new journey while the old man just walks away.
Ok, NOW we are getting into some deep stuff here. Its very rare we say the bad guys come in and basically WRECK house leaving the monks to fend for themselves. We also get to see some distance from the Ninjago series as mentioned earlier because THEIR wizard would have tried to win the fight and probably would have, but Fung seems like a flawed character which actually helps me fear for him a bit more. The Chase Young battles were pretty legit, and it looks as though are chess pieces are in place for a rather interesting journey.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
