Review: Squidbillies ‘The Inkubator Lives!’
Spoilers Below
Tammi is clamoring for child support, but Rusty is too busy acting as a night time super hero named The Inkubator. Its the hero no one asked for, especially Early whom gets locked up because of him. Much to the chagrin of Dan Halen, the Inkubator is spraying wherever spray needs to be sprayed whether its a big time hero save or worse yet…traffic violations, The Inkubator is on the job. The Sheriff figures out who the Inkubator is and as such tells him that the car wash is hiring and that might be a great place to help make a dent in the child support. Instead, Rusty ends up robbing Early at one of his stick-ups, but when he tries to give the money to Tammi, she don’t want it because she pretty much figures out how he came across it. As a result, Rusty gives the money back and tries to make right by Tammi by beating up her boss. Of course, she kinda gets pissed, so Rusty leaves and throws away the mask and cape so that he can try and get a real job. OR he can jump off a building with his daddy and get paid that way.
Squidbillies is OWNING Aqua this year and too be honest I don’t know if its even close. For starters Awesome Inc is doing a fantastic job and from the looks of it they are definitely pumping dollars into improving the production quality of the show. Could I be wrong? Sure, but I like my answer better. This week’s episode maybe had a few shreds of ‘Mysterion’ trilogy from South Park, but the Southern tendencies mixed in with ‘grown-up’ problems certainly do enough to set this series apart.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
