Review: Phineas and Ferb ‘One Good Turn’
Spoilers Below
Phineas and Ferb decide to build an obstacle course out of left over crap lying around. Of course when Candace gets back she’s annoyed, but instead her and Stacy decide to enter the obstacle course so they can win the trophy. Stacy and Candace win, but Buford and Baljeet take their trophy away because worms get to do whatever they want.
Perry heads over to Doof’s HQ which is turning in 90 degree intervals. Turns out the evil Dr. has a new ‘inator’ that turns things 90 degrees which is seen as a sign of disrespect and has caused years of strife. Turns out Doof wants to use it to make his brother turn 90 degrees during a meeting with another mayor so that Doof can take his place. Unfortunately for Doof, despite that the plan worked the Mayor of Stumblegimp doesn’t start a war because Roger Doof dances off any dis-pleasures. Dr. Doof shows up to try and get a fight going on, but Perry shoots him instead causing Doof to get smacked by the Stumblegimp mayor. Perry sets off the machine and it shoots a big huge TV that Phineas and Ferb putting it in a position for Lynn not to get curious about what the kids are up to.
This has to be a tough week for Phineas and Ferb as the show has to somehow perform under the shadows of the upcoming Mission: Marvel special set to air for one hour next Friday Night on Disney Channel. For the most part id doesn’t disappoint because we get a nice jump story line with the obstacle course, but Doof’s plot was kind of all over the place. As much as I like seeing Roger Doof, Dr. Doof got the shaft and as such we had no real battle between him or Perry. Not sure if this episode was a good turn, but it’s the last one until we get to a major event. The all eyes are on.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
