@DinosThirdTwitt posts up proposed Moral / Frankenhole cross over!
This should cure whatever Monday morning blues that you may be suffering from.
Lately there has been a lot of cross over talk what with the Futurama/Family Guy/ Simpsons stuff all on tap and sometimes the terminology is incorrectly used (the Futurama/ Adventure Time was more of a cameo than a cross over, FYI). In this case Dino Stamatopoulos recently posted up what would have been a TRUE cross over between Moral Orel and Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole aptly titled Moral Orel Frankenhole: Sell Out Show!
According to Dino, the premise of the show was more of a variety/sketch show akin to The Muppet Show where characters from Moral Orel and Frankenhole would do a bunch of sketches. This idea was pitched to Adult Swim, but the network turned it down despite the show being relatively quick to produce. Dino would later go on to work on other shows like some small-time gig called Community (new episodes set to return mid-Season on NBC) and of course the recently launched and very funny High School USA that airs every Saturday Night on FOX.
As cool as it is to see Dino do other projects with awesome results, one cannot help but miss Dino’s variety of stop-mo as I always found his stuff is typically darker and more joke-laden than the gag-heavy Robot Chicken. That said, Dino is doing a stage production this week for Cinefamily where he will be doing a live readings of un-aired Moral Orel episodes and lets not forget he is working on Anomalisa and that he just put out a new graphic novel that Dino promises is a lot like season three of Moral called Trent.
Below, check out what the proposed cross over would have looked like plus some random promos for Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
