Review: Venture Bros. “Momma’s Boys”
Who is the mysterious woman driving Dean nuts? Did Dermott and Hank get style for their band? After the jump, find out!
Recap: Cybertron Messiah

There is something that could have been a little concerning after last week’s episode. It was such a phenomenal episode, that it would be very tough to keep that momentum up. Could this week match?? Well, it came pretty close.
Spoilers Ahead
Rusty seems to be in a rush to get everyone to bed. Things only compound when Hank and Dermott hook Rusty into thinking he has a new friend named Ted. Things get even further complicated when Rusty is convinced Ted is in By Golly Gulch, and needs to be rescued. Gary, Rusty, and Dermott hatch a plan to get into Dunwich asylum, so they can get a real Ted to befriend Rusty.
Watching Hatred drive his tank is quite possibly the funniest thing to watch, except when Rusty is trying to navigate. The tank poops out a Jeep, so Rusty and Hatred go on the rest of their journey. So we get Dean sitting in an interrogation room, and he meets up with Myra Brandish. Gary, and Hank are in Dunwich, and they meet the voice of the Ted doll. Mother, after breaking out of the jail, Myra makes it to Dunwitch, with a plan to shove Dean back up her lady hole. After Hank proclaims that she isn’t his mother, the crazy house gets even more crazy, inciting a riot. Myra’s plan goes up in a flurry of shattered glass and flipped tables. Dean meets up with Hank and Gary, and they get out of dodge before the Guild shows up. Rusty and Hatred, about to fall to their death in the Jeep that fell off the edge of the cliff, are saved by “Ted.”
Hank and Dermott were clearly the bread winners this week as they continue to hysterically practice their ‘Shallow Gravy’ routine in outfits that seem to be sillier than ever. Watching Hank go through his latest MPS episode as ‘Enrico’ is almost the best turn so far had he not already done ‘The Bat’ but it still works as a great bad guy routine. Gary bringing back the Monarch suit was a twist that I certainly wasn’t expecting and am curious to see if this is a new arc or if this is a one time deal. Oh yea, and Dermott and Orpheus need to have more screen time together because not was it funny but we need to hear more about the big story ‘bomb’ that was dropped.
Overall, this week wasn’t the strongest episode of the season but still should appease Venturoos.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
