Review: Regular Show ‘Last Meal’

Starla wants Muscle Man to join her in going on a diet. He tells some of the other guys all about it and eventually the three decide to have one last hurrah at a food eats extravaganza. They do that by hitting up all of the top spots with the last spot being the hot dog restaurant. Unfortunately, Muscle Man has to take part in a hot dog eating contest. Turns out Death warned him that if he joins up he’s pretty much going to die. He does just that but when he threatens to exit, Death challenges him to the contest with the winner getting what he wants, for Death that’s Muscle Man for Muscle Man that’s not death.

Starla calls and Muscle Man tells her what happened. She gets in her car and heads over to the contest begging for a defeated Muscle Man not to die. The couple end up kissing and Death gets grossed out and forfeits the contest. Death leaves and Muscle Man promises to go on his diet.

Ew, Muscle Man and Starla kissing is kind of gross, but overall Muscle Man put on a decent episode. It was good seeing Death again, but overall the episode was just revolving around a montage that didn’t add much. If this were my last meal, I’d ask for a receipt.
