Monster Trucks are in town and the whole family rejoices in the mud-slinging action. Whilst at the show, Crash finds a hat on the ground with a mullet stapled to the back of it and with that comes good luck as things really start to go the little guy’s way. From getting better seats, to landing new wheels, Crash can’t seem to lose! Unfortunately, it looks as though Crash’s luck is about to change because his hat disappears into thin air.

Crash and Wyatt decide to head down to the batting cages to work on some swings followed closely by Pesto who clearly was looking to just ruin everyone’s evening. After repeated blows to the head, Crash gets the idea that SOMEONE stole his hat, so he decides to team up with his bro Wyatt to begin interviews among the likely suspects to try and find a culprit. However, Crash soon learns that you have to keep your friends close, and your enemies closer because after doing a rather thorough review Crash gets down to one last suspect…Wyatt!

He seems like a decent suspect, because Wyatt found his lucky arrow and won a home-run derby. These startling events lead to an interrogation lead by Crash against Wyatt. Appearing before the court, Crash makes his case, but Wyatt turns the tables when he ends up finding the hat at the last place in which Crash left it…in his other hat. Crash gets his hat back, but decides he doesn’t need it cuz he’s got his stick. Back at the monster truck rally, Crash gets crushed!

Overall, this week’s episode of Crash and Bernstein was pretty rad. Poulos came back after what seemed like forever, and even Pesto made an appearance that ended up leading to nowhere. The real highlights of the episode consists of all of the flash backs with Crash and Bernstein depicting different characters. I gotta tell you…want nightmares the rest of your life? Check out Wyatt as Crash! However, there were a bunch of drawbacks this week most notably in the production department. For one, the show started to employ more close-ups using a more multi-camera approach as opposed to the sitcom feel the show had earlier on in the season. Also, Crash’s voice overs seemed to move a bit fast for puppeteer Tim Lagasse’s hands at certain points in the episode. Next time, the puppeteer needs to slow it down JUST a tad for a more cohesive effort. In any case, the CandB fans shouldn’t be disappointed this week.
