Review: Crash and Bernstein “Crash the Man”
Spoilers Below
Poulos wants to teach Pesto, Wyatt, and Crash all about being a man. From using tools, to making repairs, Poulos teaches these kids valuable lessons…and how to do all of the landlord’s chores. Soon, Roland and Poulos talks up about a cabin retreat and Wyatt inquires about going with to learn all about being a dude. Unfortunately, that means the guys have to finish not only Poulos’ chores but Roland’s too. However, we find out that Poulos lied about taking Pesto, Wyatt, and Crash so the boys decide to hide in the back of a truck for the trip up. When they get inside the cabin, we see all of the grown men taking part in their favorite lady crafts.
Poulos tries to defend actions by claiming all of the guys are hanging out and afraid from noisy kids and women. After a bunch of arguing, the guys take part in a camp fire and we meet DeSean Jackson. Crash clearly isn’t taking anything seriously and he even starts trashing the other dudes at the camp. This leads to a big fight, but everyone makes up. Poulos eventually reams out Crash and Bernstein both of whom feel bad about ruining the little guy’s trip. Wyatt makes up a lie about being saved by a bear…but Crash makes it come true. The entire roster of dudes run for cover with the exception of Crash who gets thrown outside.
Despite the fact that DeSean Jackson is a terrible actor as is Pesto, the camping trip was rather entertaining. I really enjoyed Crash just shitting on all of the camp patrons and even funnier was him making shadow puppets. Unfortunately, the lead into the climax was befuddled by what seemed to be a bunch of Crash shorts including one that had no business being there with Landry Bender. Poulos ordering around the guys with his chores wasn’t terrible, but I didn’t see Pesto bring a lot of input into the story line overall which means he was more or less an extra. That’s usually fine with me, but maybe we could have just left Pesto at home and give more screen time to Roland because he’s a bit of a riot.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
