Review: Axe Cop ‘ Zombie Island…In Space’
Spoilers Below
Isabella shows up to the Axe offices and tells them that her father is held captive in Zombie Island…in Space thanks to Hitler and she needs Axe’s help to get him back. He calls up Wexter and off the crew goes, but they are attacked by jetpack wearing zombies however the un-dead run away before he can chop all of their heads off. We find video footage that Isabella’s dad has created a cure for the zombies but no one can hear it because his brain gets eaten by zombies while taping the recipe. Worse yet we have a zombie robot in play and guess what? Dr. Doo Doo shows up and tells Axe all about his plan and as such orders an attack on Axe summoning the zombies. Doodoo takes off for London and the cops go after him leaving Isabella behind. The zombie robot snatches the Queen of England and Doodoo forcibly marries her making HIM the King of England! He then takes his scepter and uses it to cause everyone in the world to poop themselves to death all of which creates doodoo soldiers. Good zombies show up thanks to Isabella and a fight ensues between the two factions leading Axe to go find Doo Doo. He gets knocked off Wexter, but when the Dr. tries to burn Axe Cop, Axe turns into FIRE COP and melts the turd. The Queen gives Axe Cop a wish and he cashes in wishing that everyone in the world never poops and all of the old poo gets sent into space.
WOW..to quote Cybertron if you aren’t watching this series we may not be able to be friends. The one liners that Axe comes out with rivals that of Sterling Archer’s and he does it in half the time. I actually think this particular episode was a lot better than last week’s and had a better pace with a plot fixated with a better structure. Dr. Doo Doo was a great villain and I hope it isn’t the last time we see him because he works well opposite Nick Offerman’s take on Axe. I also love the fact that Wexter got to be used more and am looking forward to more epic battles with him in it. The cast is really dynamic, and it may be tough to keep track of everyone but I’m finding myself learning…and wanting more.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
