Review: Arby ‘N’ The Chief Season 7, Episode 22
Spoilers Below
Dammit, Arby N the Chief, you got me! How the hell this show continues to still entertain and impress, is beyond me. The series went from a rinky-dink show with action figure puppetry and Halo game recordings, to a genuinely funny and well-written comedy, to a engrossing and creative story, with the old humor still generously peppered into it – and yes, action figure puppetry.
The most-recent episode managed to make me laugh, admire the graphics (quite the compliment coming from a non-gamer and non-fan of action movies), and actually yell “fuck!” out loud when the ending came before I was ready for it to be over. Even for these short YouTube shows, I still check the time often for some shows, wondering how much longer it will drag on. For Arby N the Chief, I only get frustrated on how fast it goes by, and how quickly the ending creeps up.
With only three more episodes to go (say it ain’t so, Jon!) Master Chief lures Colin online under the guise of a young player, and with very little assistance from the Arbiter, manages not to botch it, despite some close calls. After getting Colin to buy a plane ticket to see “the boy,” Chief screengrabs their conversation, and calls the police.
Meanwhile, Eugene, Tyler, and Colin decide to use Fragban while they still can, and decimate a group of players waiting to start an auto race. The episode ends with the Arbiter and Master Chief confronting Eugene in a standoff. Or is it a “showdown”? It’s a showdown.
Even with all this plot, there were still many instances of Arby & Chief back-and-forth banter, and they managed to include both a >:| (serious face) and >:D (mischievous face). I never thought I’d fall for Master Chief’s lolchat speak but, well, here we are.
You want more funny lines? Watch the damn show. I did, and I’ll sure as hell be watching this Saturday’s new one.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
