If @CollegeHumor were to KickStart a ‘Daria’ film starring Aubrey Plaza (@evilhag), I would mail my wallet

Everyone on Earth would see this if it were to happen except for the producers at MTV whom decided it was best to cancel Daria.

It has been over a decade since Daria has had any brand-new episodes on MTV mainly because MTV doesn’t like good television and would instead commission several ‘Geek’ web sites to make it look like they really do care. However, as long as the internet is around, there will always be a backlog of terrible decisions made by the network formerly known as Music TeleVision and one of them was cancelling this show.

Thankfully, the super-hot and unabashedly funny Aubrey Plaza did a team up with College Humor on a live-action take of a Daria High School reunion where the Funny People star pretty much looks dead-on playing the titular role. Let’s put it this way, if there were a Kick Starter for this thing, I would totally just mail any savings I have just to see a green light.

Unfortunately, Aubrey is starring in a different movie with a high school setting opening this weekend called The To Do List. The premise of the movie follows a 29-year old Aubrey Plaza playing a rather adorkable high school grad of whom despite the fact that she has a rocking body and all the correct parts, has never had sex and looks to do that and all of the accouterments that go with it  before she starts college none too dissimilar to the premises of Superbad and American Pie.

Check out the Daria-College Humor trailer below and the Red-band trailer for The To Do List here. Oh yea, and the best series on College Humor is by far the Badman/Batman series.
