Get to know the cast of @ShutUpCartoon ‘s new series ‘Just Shut Up’!

Today’s children is tomorrow’s problems. Thankfully, we have Mr. Squirrel and the cast of Just Shut Up to bail us out of baby-sitting and I think it’s time we get to know them a little better, don’t you?

 

Just Shut Up is a new series coming this Saturday on Shut Up Cartoons at Noon PST and although we got to see a first look trailer of what the new series is all about, we thought it was only fair to help introduce the various personalities that will be taking care of your children all the while subjecting them to oodles of Shut Up Cartoons.

 

MR. SQUIRREL (pictured left)

Mr. Squirrel doesn’t really care about this job (and don’t get me wrong, it is just a JOB for him). The only thing that Mr. Squirrel does by the book is wear the squirrel costume, but even then he sometimes leaves the zipper open and lets his gut hang out. Mr. Squirrel is completely uncensored as if he has no idea he’s on a kid’s show. He’s lovable, but a complete wild card. He’s alternately rude, offensive (farting on kids), and always inappropriate. Mr. Squirrel constantly hits on Miss Wendy.

ANDY (pictured left)

Andy is cut from the same cloth as Steve, from Blues Clues… he’s a funny, high energy kids show host, but he has clearly been doing this for far too long.  His brightly colored clothes and bouncy spirit do nothing to hide the fact that he always seems a bit over the edge. Andy acts like a birthday clown without the makeup, desperately trying to keep up the action and keep the fun going.  When the material gets inappropriate, Andy just plows ahead…

He’s desperately in love with Miss Wendy, and assumes that the only reason they’re not together is because it would be considered unprofessional.

MISS WENDY (pictured right)

Think, the Tool Time girl from HOME IMPROVEMENT crossed with a kindergarten teacher. She herself is never overtly inappropriate, she just happens to be so hot that it’s distracting to everyone else, and seems slightly oblivious that she’s in the center of an odd love triangle. Mr. Squirrel always tries to hit on her despite the fact that she rebuffs his inappropriate advances every time, and Miss Wendy politely ignores Andy’s desperate pining. Miss Wendy’s duties include bringing snacks to the kids, leading the audience in cheers. Also? Wendy makes horrible snacks.
