XBOX Live getting ‘Awesome’ one week early!

A little while back we begged Microsoft to put some cool original content on XBOX Live as opposed to the garbage that will be the Halo TV series. Well, I guess all my years working at a Microsoft software partner finally paid dividends because according to Variety the Seth Meyers-produced series is getting a start date of one-week earlier on XBOX Live by way of Hulu. For those that haven’t heard of the show, The Awesomes is a new animated series originally set to premier August 1st for Hulu that tells the story of a team of superheroes that are sort of in a rebuilding mode in terms of new players.
The Awesomes stars Kenan Thompson, Bill Hader, Taran Killam, Ike Barinholtz, Steve Higgins, Bobby Lee, and Paula Pell. The show starts on July 23rd exclusively for XBOX Live subscribers, and then August 1st for everyone else on Hulu. Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
