In keeping with continuity, Dean keeps his black shirt, and becomes a douchey vegetarian. As breakfast finishes up, the military infiltrates the Venture kitchen, and a General Manhowers gives him an adventure to an exotic island Purtina Bahia. After Dean has another emo moment involving Helper, Hank has a hilarious jet pack moment, after a pterodactyl takes the plane. After Hatred deploys the emergency pod, which the pterodactyl still a firm grip on, he puts a few bullets into the dino’s head. The pod then started a gnarly free fall. At the Venture compound, Dean is fixing Helper, and gets interrupted by Marsha Backwood. Hatred and Rusty are getting attacked by a cheetah man. It seems to me that Hatred seems to be the whipping boy this season. Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, Hank starts the over caffeinated process by eating coffee beans…lots and lots of coffee beans.

And now we have Venturestein. The army sends him to the island to overthrow the government, and finds and some guy he recognized named Jorge, and turns into a better Che Guevara by getting all of the Venturesteins united into an army, and creates a society of animal men and monsters. He takes the jPad, and makes a terrorist video proclaiming he’s going to unite, then attack.  Hank has a hilarious parody of Batman Begins, where he is cleansing himself of his former life, letting the jungle take over. Meanwhile, Hatred has a weird dream about him eating underwear, and gets woken up to an angry mob of animal people who want Rusty dead. They get sidetracked by Hank’s tactics as JungleBat Man, and they go to find him. Little do they know that Hank is waiting for them to leave, so he can rescue Hatred and Rusty. In a heartfelt moment, Venturestein hands over the keys to the cell, and they all run. The caffeine high Hank gets wears off, and he falls. The abominations find the jPad, and throw it aside. Helper shows up and is about to lay waste to all of the punks, until boatloads more of abominations show up. Marsha gets blown the hell up, just for Rusty to make her into a Venturestein for political gain. Don’t we all wish that we can blow up politicians to bend them to our whim?

This episode was legit. I am glad that they got away from a Dean heavy episode like last week’s 1 hour Deanfest. He had a couple brief scenes, then nothing much. I really enjoy the dynamic between Hatred and Rusty. But the more I see Hatred as the bodyguard, the more I want Brock back. But that’s because Brock and Patrick Warburton could be the best actor / character combination in quite some time so maybe we will get him next episode. The scenes flowed pretty well, and the parody of Batman Begins was fantastic.

Overall: 8/10
