South Park:Stick of Truth gets release update and a new trailer from Ubisoft

With a release window now confirmed to be right before Christmas as opposed to the rumored Summer release, South Park: Stick of Truth is looking to sway the recent stench of games based off of animated shows with a turn-based RPG developed by Obsidian and now being released by Ubisoft. The game is to be released on PC, PS3, and XBOX 360. This is an interesting turn of events when you consider that new consoles like XBOX One and PS4 are set to release also this Winter and neither are backwards compatible. As a result, if you were like me and planning on trading in your PS3 as deposit for PS4, you might now want to hold on to it. New trailer after the jump!

While getting the Nagasaki fart, and it’s subsequent hashtag (#Nagasakifart), Ubisoft completely underwhelmed everyone looking for something new from the game. It has been in limbo for buttfuck forever, they gave us a brief Aisha Tyler joke, and the  above. This gives me the feeling that Ubisoft is pushing this to the backburner.
