Sounds like Mike Judge (@Mikejudge) might be too busy for any animated projects for a while
Find out why Mike Judge might not ever do anything new for cartoons for quite some time….
A while back we wrote about a new series that Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge was working on with HBO in collaboration with John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky. The series was called Silicon Valley and it was of the live-action variety, but now Mike Judge will be acting as a showrunner instead of Krinsky and John because they are busy with other projects like ruining Woody the Woodpecker. With Judge at the helm watching over the new show, its gonna be hard to imagine Beavis and Butthead getting any new episodes other than the un-aired batch currently being shopped to different networks.
This in a word sucks but as a guy who has worked for software companies in the past I am curious to see how Silicon Valley plays out. But Judge, to me, is a cartoonist. Always has been, always will be. Unfortunately, it seems as though his heart is elsewhere so with that the creator of Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, and others has potentially moved on from cartoons for good.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
