Spoilers Below

When Candace thinks Jeremy is bored with their usual hangouts, she sets out to find something unique to do with him. After calling up Stacy and doing up a song about it, eventually Candace comes across a new lake that was never there before as she was trying to catch her brothers red-handed on another on of their experiments. Jeremy loves the idea of hanging out at the lake and agrees to go to the mall tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb power through town surfing on a giant ball of water. The guys do a pretty good job, too as they have to traverse through all types of terrains like bumps, zig-zags, and loop-da-loops. Eventually, the bubble comes across a fish trick competition that Buford is competing in and as the big guy is getting ready to perform his trick the entire fair gets sucked into the water bubble. The bubble races for a little while longer until it finds a jagged edge that pops the bubble creating a lake for the kids to swim in.

Lastly,  Doofenshmirtz plans to use his Double-Negative-Inator to confuse his local eatery into giving him a wintery drink that is usually not served during summer. But, like normal the inator goes off zapping everything in site including Major’s court case. Eventually, Perry beats up Doof and smashes the machine, but not before the furry animal leaves behind a mess.

Phineas and Ferb is starting to spice things up a bit as it introduces a plethora of funny story lines as opposed to the normal kids-mischief/crime fighting-animals stuff we normally get. The Phineas and Ferb story with the ball running down the hill was hysterical and very well thought out and I think when it crashed Buford’s competition it took a rather tepid side-story and made it into an effective punch-line. Candace’s story was alright in terms of funny, but the musical montage somewhat ruined it for me. Of all the story lines, the Doof/Phineas one was still rather standard-fare, but it was good to see Norm again because he hasn’t been around in a while and I can never get enough of Doof’s ramblings. If you have other things to do today, you can skip this one because other than Phineas and Ferb, everyone else kinda phoned it in.
