Review: Fish Hooks ‘Live at the Hamsterwood Bowl’

Can Oscar put on a good show for Bea?? Find out after the jump!

Spoilers Below

Oscar decides to ask Bea out to a concert to which she agrees because its Chicki and she sings ‘their’ song. Unfortunately, when Oscar goes to pick Bea up she decides to bring all of their friends to which he wasn’t really expecting because he was hoping for some alone time. The group gets to the concert, but with the help of his conscience Oscar stays cool due to the fact that Oscar and Bea’s seats are up way up close and everyone else’s was nose bleed. However, when Oscar goes to get a drink for Bea, Shellsea has to steal his seat which means he has to up to nosebleed despite the fact he probably paid good money for the other seats. Whilst there Oscar makes his play to get his seat back by causing Steve Jackson to take his shirt off which has Shellsea running to scope out the collateral. Oscar returns to his seat only to find that Bea is being bounced around the whole arena in a hamster ball. Thankfully, Oscar is able to get to the ball and spend the rest of the evening with Bea…alone!

This week’s Fish Hooks almost takes a step back in setting up Oscar and Bea as I thought the wanting to take things further in the relationship department was mutual. However, this week’s episode was rather entertaining if for no other reason I thought John DiMaggio as Chicki was so damn hysterical. Seriously every one of those songs had be rolling with laughter and like most pop music you get whatever you hear on the radio doesn’t mean you’re gonna hear the same thing live! Milo’s story was kind of a throw-away and really didn’t add to the show, but overall a decent episode.
