Clone High Creators sign new deal with @FoxBroadcasting
But, no Clone High isn’t on the way…
Phil Lord and Chris Miller, better known as the co-creators of the MTV series Clone High, are now signed on with 20th Century FOX for a three pod deal that could see the guys doing a new animated series. According to Deadline.com, 20th Century FOX Chairman Gary Newman had this to say about the signing:
“They’ve really grown up,” 20th TV chairman Gary Newman said. “We used to think of them as young guys with wildly inventive ideas. They still have wild ideas but now they also have the experience, maturity and relationships to find ways to have them mounted.”
We haven’t heard of any impending animated pilots they might have in the works, nor if it were to air on ADHD or on the regular Animation Domination lineup. That said, the Lord-Miller production team seemed to be pumped in getting started:
“We couldn’t be more excited to return to 20th Television and work with Dana (Walden) and Gary who have shown excellent taste ever since they hired us 10 years ago,” Miller and Lord said. “We were also really impressed by the studio’s proximity to Chris’ house and the pretzel-bread in the commissary.”
We will let you know if anything develops. But, if Gary at FOX is reading this, Clone High, maybe?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
