Bobby Lee joins cast of Hulu ‘s ‘The Awesomes’

This show is getting more stacked every time we write about it, and this is helping.

The hysterically funny Bobby Lee (MADTV) has joined the cast of Seth Meyers and Michael Shoemaker’s new series The Awesomes set to air in August on Hulu. For those who don’t recall, The Awesomes follows a group of superheroes of whom have a job to do but because their best guys are leaving the group left and right, is a lot easier said than done. Bobby Lee is apparently a little black girl….yep let that sink in for a second.

I followed Bobby a lot on MADTV, and I think he’s going to do great. He joins an already legit cast featuring Bill Hader, Kenan Thompsons, and Seth Meyers of whom will be voicing Professor Doctor Awesome. The series is being produced by Bento Box the same studio behind such smash hits as Brickleberry, Bob’s Burgers, and Glove and Boots.
