Venture Bros Season 5 Start Date Pushed Back AGAIN
Well, at least we know the episodes are done.
Late last night, it was reported on the Adult Swim Facebook page that Venture Bros Season 5 start date will instead be on June 2nd, 2013 @ Midnight EST (a one hour premier) as opposed to the recently advertised May 19th, 2013 start date. Yea, we are pissed too but on Jackson Publick’s LiveJournal a fan named ‘timb859’ did ask him about it and he indeed confirmed by saying:
“Yeah, sorry. A recent development. No fault of ours–these episodes have all been completed for over a month already. Purely a network scheduling conflict/strategy thing.”
My bet is it may have had something to do with airing an episode before a holiday which I suppose makes sense form a business standpoint. That said, we have trailers up for Season 5 here and here. We did get confirmation on this whole story from the network, but we are awaiting a statement.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
