I’m actually surprised that it took this long before someone wanted to point fingers at SOMETHING following the horrific Boston Marathon massacre from yesterday. For those who don’t know, there was a Boston Marathon yesterday and TWO bombs went off killing 3, injuring 150, and cancelling  the Celts/Bruins games that were supposed to be played. Well turns out someone made a terribly thought out and even worse clipped together video of two scenes from the recent Family Guy episode ‘Turban Cowboy’in an effort to claim that Seth MacFarlane and the producers some  how proclaimed this horrible event to occur. Here is the clip in question:\

So yea, as you can see the clip is clearly bull shit and if you watched the episode all the way through these scenes were nowhere near each other in the episode. We actually have clips of the episode here and a recap of the episode here if you need further proof. In any case creator Seth MacFarlane took it to Twitter and rightly admonished whomever would put together something like this in light of the recent events:

The edited Family Guy clip currently circulating is abhorrent. The event was a crime and a tragedy, and my thoughts are with the victims.–Seth MacFarlane

Its reasons like this where if you see packaging or a disclaimer read something like ”Any characters, locations, settings used as material are intended to be used for entertainment, and correlation between said characters and actual names and events are entirely coincidental and should be treated as such”.

On a personal note, we here at Bubbleblabber would also like to send out our deepest condolences to those affected by this tragic event and wish all of whom were injured a speedy and fast recovery.
