Review: The Cleveland Show ‘Squirt’s Honor’
Spoilers Below
Rallo gets signed up to be a part of the scouts err squirts with Junior and he isn’t exactly thrilled. Eventually, he learns of a candy selling scheme and he decides to jump in to make profit. Eventually, Junior finds out about it, but he seems to take it in stride. During an initiation ceremony, Junior tells a whole crowd of what goes down and he swears off the squirts once and for all. Turns out Junior starts to understand that he needs to grow up and he even rips up Larry! Even worse, Junior starts hating on everyone’s interests so Roberta convinces Rallo to try and change him back to the dorky kid he used to be. To do that Rallo gets the other scammers to sing a song of which changes Junior back to the dork he usually is.
Meanwhile, Cleveland and Donna get a stay at a fancy room in a fancy hotel. Not content on living plain they pull all this shit with the rooms so that they get upgraded comps. Unfortunately, when the rents look to check out, they get a 3200 bill and of course they can’t afford it so they have to work it off. That said, these two aren’t exactly Ethel and Lucy. Cleveland and Donna’s luck changes when Cleveland gets groped by a customer, leading Donna to try and frame the douche so as to win a big settlement so they can get out of paying off this debt. Instead, the couple gets fired, but at least they are off the hook.
With all the rumors surrounding the show’s future its funny to see Rallo begging for ratings. That said, neither plot were particularly original as Rallo and Junior seem to do then subsequently undo something every week, and the maids plot has been done by everyone. Granted we did get some funny twists, like who could imagine Junior ripping off Larry’s head? And most notably the sexual harassment attempt by Donna and Cleveland was pretty damn funny. Then throw in another solid and always reliable appearance from John Viener, and this week’s episode was certainly honorable.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
