Comics Review: Simpsons Comics #201
Spoilers Ahead
What’s this? The Simpsons do a murder mystery dinner thing? Sign me up!
Marge sets up a murder mystery for her friends and family. Monsieur Grenouille shows up, and the festivities begin. Right out the gate, Bart realizes that something is off with him, but plays along anyway. A little while later, while everyone is trying to get clues and talk to everyone else, Bart notices Grenouille spiking the punch, does something retarded by telling Barney, who then tells everyone.
Everyone but Bart, Lisa and Maggie drink it, leaving them alone with Grenouille, who is really Sideshow Bob in disguise. Lisa gets Maggie, who would end up being a really good pitcher in baseball. She hits Bob with every pie, and fish Bart and Lisa sends her way. Everyone wakes up just in time to see that Grenouille was really Sideshow Bob. Spoiler: Bart was the killer in the story.
This story was basic fare. There were a lot of funny moments in the story, and by the setting, I figured out someone was going to be disguised. It’s like almost every murder mystery I’ve seen.
Overall, I would give this a
7/10.
This issue was funny, but not much in the way of originality.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
